Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It exists because Orren sends messages from your accounts, records calls, and holds information about people who are not our customers. Breaking it can get your platform accounts suspended and, in some cases, breaks the law, so we will suspend an Orren account that breaks it.

Messaging and automations

• Only message people who expect to hear from you. An automation must be triggered by something the other person did: they messaged you, commented, tapped a button you sent, or booked a call. Orren does not send cold outreach and you may not use it to.
• Respect the platform's windows. Instagram allows a business to reply within a window after the other person's last message. Orren enforces it. Do not try to work around it.
• No spam, no deception. No bulk unsolicited messages, no misleading sender names, no impersonating a person or a company, no pretending an automated message is a human when someone asks.
• No harassment. No abuse, threats, sexual content sent to someone who did not ask for it, or repeated messages to someone who asked you to stop.
• Stop when asked. If someone asks you to stop messaging them, your automations must stop. Orren gives you the controls; using them is on you.
• You own the content. Everything an automation sends is sent by you and must be true, lawful and yours to send.

Recording

• Orren records and transcribes calls and meetings on your Mac. In many places every participant must consent to being recorded. Know the rules where you and the other people are, tell them before recording, and do not record where you may not.
• Do not upload recordings you do not have the right to hold.

The people in your records

• Hold only the information you have a lawful basis to hold, for the purpose the person would expect.
• Honour a person's request to be forgotten. Orren's hide-lead control removes a person from Orren's servers and every derived record; use it.
• Do not use Orren to profile people in ways the law forbids, including on protected characteristics, and do not use it for decisions about credit, employment, housing or insurance.

Platforms you connect

• Comply with the terms of every platform you connect: Meta's Platform Terms and Instagram's community and messaging policies, Google's API Services User Data Policy and YouTube's Terms of Service, and Notion's, Calendly's and Stripe's terms.
• Connect only accounts you own or are authorised to operate.

The service itself

• Do not probe, scan or test the service for vulnerabilities except as the Security Policy allows.
• Do not use Orren to store or send malware, or content that is illegal where you or the recipient are.
• Do not resell access, share a licence, or run Orren for people who are not licensed.
• Do not use automated means to extract Orren's prompts, models or catalogue.

Enforcement

We may warn, limit, suspend or end an account that breaks this policy, and we will comply with lawful requests from platforms and authorities. Where an automation is causing harm we may stop it without notice and tell you afterwards. Questions: josh@conquermental.com.
